The pizza wasn't good, everything was super salty , Parma was dry, chips soggy. We had delivered to diggers, I know it's a bit out of the way, but an hour and a half is a big wait for what we got. One up side was it was fairly cheap.
Ordered a ribs n chips and a pizza, along with a Fanta and Coke No Sugar. Order came on time, but the chips were quite soggy being in with the ribs and parsnip puree. As I made the order just before closing, I was happy to accept the soggy chips with the ribs. My real complaint is the soft drink. I ordered Coke No Sugar... what I received is Diet Coke. HUGE difference. I went back to check my order to see if I had chosen wrong, and Diet Coke isn't even an option. I was unable to get past the nasty after taste that was even affecting the taste of the dinner, so I poured it out. Had I been informed that Diet Coke was available instead of Coke No Sugar, I would have happily chosen something different or settled for water.
Just discovered Deliza Food & Wine in Sunbury. What a gem - we thought wed support a new venue (new owners). They have $10 specials on Monday - Wednesdays. I had the pumpkin risotto, my husband had the carbonara. Both meals were excellent. Tasty, well presented and plenty of food on the plate. We were early and the only people in the restaurant - this place is definitely worth supporting. Service was great.
Great food and wine at great prices. Much nicer than the place up the road. Give it a chance and you will not be disappointed.
Deliza was delightful. The food was amazing, best spaghetti and meatballs I have had in a long time. Eugene the owner was equally pleasant. A very nice intimate dining experience. 5 stars.
